Plum Cake with Marzipan and Almond Sprinkles

- 500 gr Flour
- 200 gr Sugar
- 150 gr Butter
- 150 ml Milk
- 3 Eggs
- 1 pck Baking powder
- 1 pck Vanilla sugar
- 1,5 kg Plums
- For the sprinkles
- 100 gr Marzipan raw mass
- 100 gr Almonds, chopped
- 125 gr Flour
- 100 gr Butter
- 100 gr Sugar
- Beat eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in flour, baking powder and milk. Beat vigorously with the mixer.
- Cover the baking sheet with baking paper – spread the dough on top. Cover with the plums.
- Coarsely grate the marzipan with a grater (works best if the marzipan has been in the freezer for about an hour beforehand). Then process with the flour, sugar, butter and the almonds to crumble.
- Bake the cake for about 60 minutes at 200 degrees.
