Plum cake with quark and oil dough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 220 g butter
  • 250 g quark
  • 160 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 9 tbsp oil
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 470 g flour
  • 750 g plums or prunes, approx.
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

For the crumble, combine 350g flour and 250g sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, stir in 220g melted butter, and chill. For the dough, combine 250g quark, 160g sugar, 2 eggs, 5 tablespoons of milk, 9 tablespoons of oil, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Knead with 470g flour to form a dough. Roll out the dough on a greased baking sheet and top with the pitted and halved plums. Spread the crumble on top. Bake at approximately 165°C (fan oven or 180°C top/bottom heat) for about 40-50 minutes without preheating.
