Plum Cake with Walnut-butter-sugar Coating

The perfect plum cake with walnut-butter-sugar coating recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 Gr Butter
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Eier
  • 1 dl Milk
  • 300 g Flour
  • 100 Gr Ground almonds
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Tl Cinammon
  • 650 Gr Plums cut into quarters.
  • For the walnut butter coating:
  • 6 El Chopped walnuts
  • 2 El Liquid butter
  • 3 El Sugar
  1. Grease the springform pan. And dust with flour. Put in a cool place.
  2. Prepare the plums and quarter them. Put aside.
  3. Mix the butter with the sugar and a pinch of salt until soft. Stir in one egg at a time until the mixture is light. Now stir in the milk.
  4. Mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and the ground almonds together. And add to the butter-egg mixture, fold in thoroughly and smooth out into the pan.
  5. Now put the plums in the batter. And 40 minutes, baking at 180 degrees in the lowest groove.
  6. In the meantime, chop the butter and melt the walnuts. Mix with the sugar and, after 40 minutes, remove the cake and spread the mixture over it. Bake for another 15 minutes. Ready! Let rest in the tin for 10 minutes and then slide onto a cake rack and let cool down. Can be eaten lukewarm.
