Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 cm ginger root
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 750 ml white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. clove powder
  • 1 pinch of allspice powder
  • 750 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Halve and pit the plums. Chop the garlic, peel and grate the ginger. Combine everything with salt, chili flakes, and vinegar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Stir in the sugar, clove powder, and allspice. Simmer for another 30 minutes. Puree everything, pour into jars, and seal. It goes very well with grilled dishes.
