Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g quark, low-fat
- 6 tbsp milk
- 6 tbsp oil
- 75 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 300 g flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 glasses of plum(s)
- 4 egg whites
- 200 g sugar
- 1 cup juice (plum juice)

Knead the dough ingredients into a quark and oil dough and roll it out on a greased baking sheet (use a drip tray or deep baking sheet). Top with the plums and bake in the center of a preheated oven (150°C fan/convection oven) for about 15 minutes, until the crust is light brown. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, gradually adding the sugar. Finally, mix in 1 cup of plum juice; the mixture will be very fluffy. Remove the pre-baked cake from the oven, spread the meringue mixture on top, and bake again at the same temperature until light brown. Depending on your oven, this can take 10 to 20 minutes; it’s best to keep an eye on it.
