Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 40 g yeast
  • 150 g butter
  • some sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 g plum(s) , damsons
  • 200 g clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Put the flour in a bowl. Make a well in the center, add lukewarm milk, crumbled yeast, and a little sugar. Let the dumpling prove briefly. Add the eggs, softened butter, and salt to the dumpling and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it prove for another hour. Cut out small noodles, stretch the dough out a little, and place the pitted plums in the center. Fold the edges of the dough together and shape them like noodles. Melt the clarified butter in a bowl and add the noodles, leaving some space between them. Let it prove briefly again. Bake everything for about 30 minutes at 180°C.
