with marzipan and plum filling

Mix the flour and salt in a bowl and stir in the yeast with the lukewarm milk. Add the yeast milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and egg to the flour and knead everything thoroughly. Cover the medium-firm dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Cut the marzipan into 15 pieces. Wash the plums, cut open one side and remove the stone. Now place a piece of marzipan in place of the stone. Melt the butter in a square ovenproof dish on the stovetop. Knead the dough again, divide it into 15 pieces and shape the pieces into rounds. Now flatten the dough pieces slightly, place a plum with marzipan on each one, fold the dough together over the plum and roll out again into a round. Place the plum noodles in the dish on the melted butter, leaving some space between them, and let them rise for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-assisted) and bake the plum noodles on the middle rack for about 30 minutes, until they have risen and are lightly browned. Let stand briefly, then turn out onto a plate and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Remove from the pan after cooling.
