Plums – Crumble with Walnuts

The perfect plums – crumble with walnuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Frozen plums
  • 10 g Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 30 g Butter
  • 2 Tablespoon (level) Brown sugar
  • 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 3 Walnuts fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Maple syrup
  1. Thaw prunes, drain and cut in half. Melt the butter in a pan. Add the plums and toss in the butter. Sprinkle sugar on top and sauté the plums a little. Then put in a small, greased ovenproof dish.
  2. Knead crumble from butter, sugar, cinnamon and flour. Crack nuts. Put one walnut half aside. Roughly chop the remaining nut kernels and mix with the crumble.
  3. Spread the sprinkles over the plums. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool down a bit. The nicest thing is the cinnamon scent 😉
  4. Mix the crème fraîche with the maple syrup. Put a little on the crumble and garnish with the walnut half.
