Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) bread(s) (brown bread), stale bread is fine
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Dip the bread slices, one at a time, in the egg mixture and fry briefly on both sides in a pan with a little hot vegetable oil. Serve immediately.
