Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken legs
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 branch Thyme
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Ground blue poppies
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 120 degrees. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the chicken drumsticks with the skin on the side over medium heat, then turn them over and season with salt. Now add the butter and let it melt. Press on the clove of garlic and add it along with the thyme. Now add the poppy seeds as well. Pour the poppy seed butter over the chicken legs.
  • Now let the chicken drumsticks finish cooking in the preheated oven and baste them with the poppy seed butter from time to time. The chicken legs are done when clear meat juice comes out when you prick the legs. The cooking time depends on the size of the chicken drumsticks.
