Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 300 g flour, smooth
- 70 g ground almonds
- 60 g poppy seeds, ground
- 100 g powdered sugar
- some lemon peel
- ½ lemon(s), the juice
- n. B. chocolate glaze
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes
Variety on the cookie plate during Advent!
Quickly knead all ingredients except the chocolate glaze into a dough and chill in an airtight container for at least 2 hours. Knead thoroughly again before rolling out. Roll out the dough to about 3 mm thick and cut out cookies. Bake at 160°C for about 7 minutes. Decorate with chocolate glaze, if desired. I’ve also made croissants out of them and dipped the tips in punch glaze. They taste great just dusted with powdered sugar!
