Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g chocolate, white or better couverture
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g oat flakes
  • 50 g poppy seeds
  • 125 g flour
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar or vanilla baking powder
  • 5 drops flavoring (vanilla flavor)
  • 1 pinch(s) flavoring (lemon flavor)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spoon cookies, delicious not only at Christmas time!

Roughly chop the chocolate. Beat the butter until peaks form. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, vanilla flavoring, lemon flavoring, and salt and continue beating. Stir in the egg and continue beating until the mixture is light yellow. Combine the oats with the poppy seeds and chocolate and mix in. Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually sift it over the mixture and mix in. Using 2 teaspoons, place walnut-sized mounds of dough on the baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork dipped in cold water. Bake at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 8-10 minutes.
