Pork Belly Grilled in Oven
The perfect pork belly grilled in oven recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 kg Pork belly with a layer of fat, rind and bone
- 1 packet Soup greens fresh
- 1 piece Parsley root
- Salt and pepper
- 2 packet Rolls old
- Parsely
- Eggs
- 1 bottle Beer dark
- 2 piece Fresh onion
- Cut into the pork belly rind, wash. Salt, a little pepper.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Put the pork belly in a roasting pan and fry slowly for about 2 hours.
- Cut the soup greens into small pieces, peel the parsley root and chop it up too. Peel and chop the onion.
- Pour a little beer over the pork belly and add the soup greens to the roasting pan. Pour beer over and over again and mix with a little water.
- In the meantime, prepare the bread dumplings. See my cookbook Bavarian and nothing else
- When the pork belly is done, cut open between the bones. Drain the sauce through a sieve.
- Arrange on a plate with bread dumplings.
