Pork Belly, Sour Beans and Potato Snow

The perfect pork belly, sour beans and potato snow recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 liter Water
  • 500 g Sour beans
  • Finely chopped savory
  • 450 g Peeled waxy potatoes
  • 1 liter Salted water

  1. Place the pork belly in cold water and bring to the boil. Cook for a good 40-50 minutes.
  2. Take the beans out of the fermentation pot, wash them off. Add to the pork belly. Beans take about 20 minutes and they should by no means be mushy. You can add some salt here.
  3. Now cut the potatoes into cubes and wash them, put them in salted water. CVa. Let cook for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat the butter, roast the sunflowers over the potato snow.
  5. Drain the potato, press through the press.
  6. Take the meat out of the water, cut through it, lay it out and add the sour beans. Now I wish, enjoy it!

Tip :

  1. Sour beans can also be eaten well with ribs or smoked pork chops.
