Pork chops in aluminum foil

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 100 g ham, cooked
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 150 g mushrooms
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 tsp thyme, finely shredded
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Trim the fat from the chops and finely chop them with the ham, then fry briefly in the butter. Peel and finely chop the onion, shallot, and garlic. Clean, trim, and slice the mushrooms. Peel and deseed the tomato. Add the vegetables and thyme to the ham mixture, sauté, and season. Remove the vegetables from the pan and keep warm. Briefly fry the chops in the hot pan on both sides to close the pores. For each chop, spread out a sheet of aluminum foil, place a quarter of the vegetable and ham mixture on top, then a chop and wrap it in the foil. Place on the oven rack and cook for 18 minutes. Serve in the aluminum foil.
