Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg roast pork (rolled roast)
  • 1 tsp mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 1 tsp lard
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Pork roti

Preheat the oven to 250°C. Rub the meat with salt and pepper. Grease a roasting pan with the lard, add the meat, and cook in the oven for 25 minutes, turning once or twice and basting with the meat juices. Then reduce the heat to 200°C and roast the meat for another 25 minutes. Turn again and baste. Turn off the oven and let the rolled roast rest for 5 minutes with the oven door open.
