Pork fillets with horseradish and mustard topping

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g pork fillet(s)
  • 3 tsp horseradish (table horseradish)
  • 3 tsp mustard, hot
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut the pork fillets into thumb-thick slices. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the fillets on a baking sheet (possibly with parchment paper, as some juices tend to leak out). Brush the fillets first with horseradish and then with mustard, creating two layers. The horseradish and mustard combination is quite pungent, so you’ll have to test the exact amount yourself. Please do not use creamed horseradish, as it releases too much liquid. Place the fillets in the oven preheated to 180°C for about 10-15 minutes. This simple and quick dish also goes well with an evening hot buffet.
