Pork in beer sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pork schnitzels
  • 1 bottle of beer (light, export)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 jar pepper(s), pickled
  • olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Hearty and simple meal

Dice the pork schnitzel into small pieces. Season the meat with plenty of salt and pepper and fry it in plenty of olive oil. Don’t let it brown, or it will become tough. Sear briefly and quickly. Then pour in a bottle of beer, cover, and simmer gently for about 1 to 1.5 hours. This will produce beautifully soft and flavorful meat. Depending on your oven, add more beer if the beer evaporates. Season with salt and pepper. Fry two fried eggs per serving. Serve the meat with the sauce, top with the fried eggs, and top with the pickled peppers. Serve with white bread.
