Pork Schnitzel from Cold Roast Pork

The perfect pork schnitzel from cold roast pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Roast pork from the previous day
  • 3 tbsp Lard / fat
  • 1 Egg
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  1. Cut the roast from the day before into finger-thick slices. Build the flour, egg and breadcrumbs into a “breading line” and bread the slices of meat like schnitzel. Bake the schnitzel in the lard (or oil) until golden brown. The schnitzels are very tasty and do not have the typical taste of a warmed up roast.
