Potato and apple casserole with Camembert

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes
  • 400 g apples
  • 250g Camembert(s)
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Wash the potatoes with their skins on and boil them in salted water for 20-30 minutes. Let them cool and then peel them. Slice the potatoes, season with salt and pepper. Peel, halve, and slice the apples. Slice the Camembert as well. Alternate layers of potatoes, apples, and Camembert in an ovenproof dish. Mix the cream and eggs, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and pour over the ingredients in the dish. Bake for 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Note: For 4 servings, this results in 525 kcal per piece.
