Potato and apple puree with sesame

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes
  • 250 g apples, diced
  • 200 ml milk
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel and quarter the potatoes, and boil them in a little salted water until soft. Sauté the apple cubes separately in a little butter for 3 minutes. Then mash the potatoes, add the apple cubes, and mix everything well. Slowly stir in the milk until the puree reaches the desired consistency. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Finally, toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan and stir into the puree.
