Ingredients

Sauce:

  • 1 large Carrot
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • Marjoram
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the mill - whoever wants it
  • Oil or clarified butter
  • Approx. 6 pieces
  • Smoked salmon as you like
  • 0,5 Becker Sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • Dille chopped - at will
  • 2 Toes Pressed garlic
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 100 g Smoked salmon

Instructions

  • Wash the potatoes and carrots, peel them and grate them finely or if you prefer coarser, press them out firmly (very important).
  • Put the egg, flour and finely diced onion and the spices into a batter.
  • Let the oil or clarified butter get hot in a pan. Use a spoon to put a certain amount of batter into the hot fat, flatten it a little and bake it until crispy brown

Sour Cream Dill Sauce

  • Stir sour cream and creme fraiche until smooth, add finely chopped dill and garlic, season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the crispy baked pancakes with salmon and the sauce, I liked it very much. I ate green salad with it.
