Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 100 g ham, diced
- some pepper
- nutmeg
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Using leftovers for mashed potatoes
Mix leftover mashed potatoes with milk and flour and season to taste. Stir in diced ham and fry in a little oil like potato pancakes. If you use raw ham or bacon, you don’t need to add salt. Cooked ham, herbs, or simply plain are also suitable. I serve it with salad and applesauce or cranberries.
