Potato and Leek Casserole with Ham

The perfect potato and leek casserole with ham recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 500 g Leek
  • 3 Onions
  • 150 g Raw ham
  • 200 g Crème fraîche with 14% fat
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 50 g Frozen chives
  • 2 potty Knorr bouillon pure beef
  1. Dice the onions, cut the leek into half rings.
  2. Fry the ham until crispy. Add onions and leeks and fry briefly. Deglaze with a little water and simmer for approx. 3-5 minutes until soft.
  3. Mix the eggs, crème fraîche and milk and add to the pan as well. Stir in the stock.
  4. Peel and dice the potatoes and add to the pan with the chives. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Fill into a baking dish and bake in the oven preheated to 190 ° for about 50-60 minutes. If you like, you can also sprinkle cheese over it before baking.
