Layered Casserole …… Potato and Leek Mince

The perfect layered casserole …… potato and leek mince recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

1 . layer

  • 6 Potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 0,5 liter Vegetable broth

2. layer

  • 2 Thin sticks of leek
  • 0,125 liter Salt water
  • 1 blob Butter
  • 1 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg

3. layer

  • 300 g Mixed minced meat
  • 1 Onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • 0,5 teaspoon Ground caraway
  • 0,5 teaspoon Mustard
  • 150 g Grated cheese
  1. Pre-cook the peeled potato slices in vegetable stock for about 5 minutes. Place flat in a greased baking dish
  2. Thoroughly clean the leek and cut into fine cubes and cook in salted water for 5 minutes … drain … then cook again in fresh salted water for 5 minutes, season with butter and nutmeg … distribute on the potatoes
  3. Cook a strong, seasoned mince sauce from the mince, fry the mince with the onion until crumbly with pepper, salt and season the caraway, add the vegetable stock, stir in the mustard and simmer until creamy.
