Potato and minced meat gratin

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g potatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 carrots
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 100 g herb cream cheese
  • some milk
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • n. B. herbs, fresh or frozen
  • 150 g cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the potatoes, slice them, and cook until soft. Peel the onions and carrots, dice them, and fry them in a pan with the minced meat. When the minced meat is cooked through, add the seasonings and cream cheese. You can use more cream cheese if desired. Thin with milk. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Drain the potatoes. In a baking dish, layer some of the minced meat mixture, then the potatoes, and finally more minced meat. Sprinkle with cheese and place in the oven for about 15 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
