Potato and spinach gratin the easy way

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of potato(s) (potato gratin), ready-made product
  • 400 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

No time? No problem!

Chop the onion and fry it with the garlic in a little oil until translucent. Defrost the spinach according to the package instructions and add it to the onions. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Transfer the mixture to a small, non-stick casserole dish. Layer the potato gratin on top. Slice the feta and spread it over the potatoes. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes. Highly recommended as a side dish for meatballs. Serve with a light tomato sauce with thyme.
