Potato and tomato casserole

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 potatoes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • onion(s)
  • 100 g minced meat
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme
  • ½ cup sour cream (approx. 100 – 125 ml)
  • 70 g Gouda, grated
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Slice the potatoes and tomatoes, and cut the onions into thin rings. Brown the minced meat and season with salt and pepper. Place a layer of potatoes in a greased casserole dish, season with salt and pepper. Place the minced meat on top of the potatoes and then alternate layers of potatoes, onions, and tomatoes on top. Season each generously with salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix the Gouda with the sour cream and pour over the casserole. Cook in a preheated oven at 225°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for 15-20 minutes. To serve: Place portions on plates and serve with leaf salads. Wine suggestions: dry Scheurebe, dry Pinot Noir, dry Rheinhessen Riesling.
