Potato and vegetable patties

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes
  • some caraway
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g flour
  • 100 g cheese, grated Emmental
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • ½ celeriac
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • some fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Boil the potatoes with a little caraway seeds, peel, let cool, and finely grate. Mix in the eggs, flour, and cheese with the spices. Wash, peel, and grate the carrots and celery. Wash the leek and slice it into thin rings, then add it to the potato mixture. Form the dough into patties and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
