Ingredients

  • 500 g Flour
  • 100 g Mashed Potatoes Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 500 ml Water
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 100 g Grated cheese

Instructions

  • Mix the flour with the mashed potatoes and yeast. Add salt and sugar. Then add the water with the hand mixer and stir in. It is best not to add all the water immediately, but let it run in while stirring. Knead into a smooth dough.
  • Grate cheese, unless bought grated, I usually use Gouda cheese.
  • Put about 1/2 the amount of cheese under the dough and place in a "large / long" loaf pan that has been greased or lined with baking paper. Pour the rest of the cheese over the bread. Let the bread rise for about 1 hour before putting it in the oven.
  • Then put the mold in the oven at 200 ° C (without preheating) and bake for 40 minutes. It is best to do a cooking test with a chopstick, with me the bread is always done after 40 minutes.

TIP:

  • If you like herbs in bread, you can also add herbs instead of cheese. That should also taste very good.
