Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 600 g potatoes, peeled, sliced into approx. 4 mm thick slices
- 300 g cheese, grated
- 200 g cooked ham
- salt and pepper
- 200 ml cream
- 1 clove(s) garlic, grated or squeezed
- 3 tsp, heaped flour
- Parsley
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
from the grill or oven
Arrange a layer of potato slices in a pan (or casserole dish) until the bottom is covered. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with grated cheese until the potatoes are covered. Place slices of ham on top of the cheese. Then place the next layer of potatoes on top of the ham, then add more cheese and ham, etc. Finish with cheese. Depending on the size of the pan, this will make 3-4 layers. Then place the pan (covered with a lid or foil) in the oven (or indirectly in the grill) and cook for about 45 minutes at 180°C. Then mix together the cream, flour, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper and pour over the potatoes. Cook uncovered for about 15 minutes.
