Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g potatoes, cut into small cubes
- 800 g carrot(s), sliced
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
- 1 bunch parsley, flat-leaf, chopped
- 250 g smoked ham, cut into small cubes
- Salt
- Black pepper, freshly ground
- 200 ml cream
- 150 g cheese, young Gouda, coarsely grated
- some fat, for greasing
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes
Mix together the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, diced onions, parsley, and diced ham, place in a greased baking dish, season with salt (or even less, as ham can be too salty) and pepper, pour over the cream, and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius on the middle rack for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 30 minutes.
