Potato, spinach and minced meat casserole

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g spinach, frozen
  • 10 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder
  • ½ bag of mozzarella, grated
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

First, defrost the frozen spinach. I add a little milk to a saucepan and simmer it on low heat. Peel the potatoes and slice them. Cook them in lightly salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a little oil. Once it’s cooked, season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Seasoning it after frying will help prevent the mince from losing as much liquid. Mix everything in a casserole dish, sprinkle with some cheese, and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. Bake for longer or shorter periods depending on how browned you prefer it.
