Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 150 g feta cheese, cut into strips
  • Salt, (seasoning salt)
  • nutmeg
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • olive oil

Peel and grate raw potatoes and carrots, place them in a kitchen towel, and squeeze the excess liquid firmly. Season generously to taste. Form flat patties, place strips of feta cheese in the center, and press firmly together. Then fry in olive oil until golden brown. Tip: Carefully place the patties in the pan and turn them over. This mixture makes enough for about 10 patties.
