Potato gratin in the OptiGrill XL

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 200 ml milk
  • 200 g cream
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable stock powder
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

This recipe requires the OptiGrill baking tray. Peel the potatoes, slice or cut them, and layer them evenly in the baking tray. Mix the milk, cream, and vegetable stock, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste, and pour evenly over the potatoes. Close the grill and select manual mode at the orange setting. After the preheating time, set the cooking time to 40 minutes. Once the cooking time is over, sprinkle the cheese on top and bake the gratin for another 15 minutes. Note: When using the small OptiGrill, the quantity should be reduced by approximately 30%.
