Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter, soft
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 200 g flour
- 4 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 175 ml milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) or 160°C (fan oven). Cream the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and continue beating until smooth. Combine the flour with cocoa powder, salt and baking powder and add to the butter and sugar mixture alternately with the milk. Mix everything until a smooth batter forms. Fold in about 2/3 of the chopped chocolate. Divide the batter between the cups of a muffin tin lined with baking cups. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. If desired, glaze the muffins with chocolate after they have cooled. Melt the remaining chocolate to do this. For smaller muffins, divide the batter between more cases to make 20-24 muffins.
