Potato gratin with minced meat and capers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 100 ml milk
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 60 g capers
  • 1 tsp, leveled stock powder
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • nutmeg
  • chili flakes
  • Garlic salt
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Peel and slice the potatoes. Boil them in salted water for 15 minutes. Finely chop the onions and fry them with the minced meat. Combine the crème fraîche, sour cream, cream cheese, and milk in a saucepan and heat gently, stirring constantly. Add the crushed garlic cloves and season with the remaining spices. Place half of the potatoes in a baking dish, spread the minced meat and capers on top. Layer the remaining potatoes on top and pour the sauce over everything. Finally, crumble the feta cheese and sprinkle it on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
