Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, boiled, peeled
  • 400 g meat sausage
  • 150 g carrot(s)
  • 150 g peas
  • 5 eggs, hard boiled
  • 3 m.-sized apples
  • 4 medium-sized gherkins
  • 500 g remoulade
  • 1 bunch of herbs
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the potatoes, sausage, eggs, cucumbers, and apples into roughly equal cubes. Peel the carrots and boil them in water with a little salt and a pinch of sugar until tender, then chop them. Remove the canned peas and drain well. Layer the ingredients one after the other in a bowl. For the marinade, mix the tartar sauce, herbs, lemon juice, and sugar. Peel and chop the onions, and add them. Pour the marinade over the salad and smooth it down. Let it sit for 24 hours, stirring just before serving.
