Potato Obatzter
The perfect potato obatzter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Jacket potatoes
- 75 g Camembert double cream setting
- 1 finger-thick washer Butter
- 2 tablespoon Creme fraiche Cheese
- 2 Garlic cloves chopped
- 2 teaspoon Freshly chopped rosemary
- 1 Freshly chopped chilli
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Spring onion stick
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
- 2 Pinches Sugar brown raw sugar
- Salt and pepper
- Debark the camembert and cut into small cubes. Dice the butter. Mix these ingredients with the peeled, hot and diced jacket potatoes. Put this mixture in the microwave (or in a water bath) for about 2 minutes so that the cheese can melt. Then stir well.
- Cut the spring onions into rings and add to the obatzter with the remaining ingredients and mix. Season to taste with salt and pepper and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Goes well with crispbread, baguette, pretzels and a cool blond.
