Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g potatoes
  • 150 g polenta, cooked
  • Salt
  • possibly spice(s)
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

This side dish was created from leftovers and is a quick alternative to dumplings

Boil and peel the potatoes, then add them to a bowl with the cooked, cooled polenta (a solid mixture). Season to taste with salt and spices. Mash with a fork until a dough-like mass forms. Form the “dough” into small discs and fry in a pan until golden brown on both sides. A delicious side dish instead of dumplings, for example.
