Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g potatoes, floury
  • Salt
  • butter
  • Oil (olive oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash, peel, and coarsely grate the potatoes. Place them in a tea towel, squeeze out any excess liquid, and season with salt. In a nonstick pan, combine the butter and oil until light brown. Press the potato strips firmly into the pan with a fork; the mixture should be no more than 2 cm thick. Fry slowly for 5 minutes until golden brown. Turn over on a lightly oiled plate and brown the other side for another 5 minutes.
