Potato salad with pears and cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g waxy potatoes
  • 500 g pear(s)
  • 250 g cheese, spicy, e.g. medium-aged Gouda or blue cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp thyme, shredded

variable, very simple potato salad

Cook the potatoes in salted water, rinse with cold water, and peel. Peel and core the pears. Dice the potatoes, pears, and cheese and mix in a bowl. Blend the sour cream with vinegar until smooth, season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix into the salad and let it sit in the refrigerator for about an hour. It can also be eaten the next day. Choose the cheese according to your taste; many varieties go well with pears.
