Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s) (finely chopped)
  • 1 kg potatoes (cut into small cubes)
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 5 bay leaves
  • pepper
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

mom’s way

Finely chop the onion. Add oil to the pot and sauté the diced onion. Keep adding a little water to prevent it from burning. Sauté until completely soft. Remove the pot from the heat and add paprika, potatoes, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well and top up with water. Simmer until the potatoes are cooked through. Mix the sour cream and sour cream together, simmer briefly, and serve. If you like it spicy, add a little chili.
