Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g potatoes
  • 1 cup buttermilk (500 ml)
  • 1 cup of cream (250 ml)
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup cream cheese, grainy
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Poor people’s food from back then, very tasty.

Boil and peel the potatoes. Bring the buttermilk and milk to a boil. Add the cream and remove from the heat. Whisk the flour with a little warm water or milk. Return the pot to the heat and bring to a boil, then stir in the flour/water mixture. Lumps can and are okay; they’ll taste great later. Season with plenty of salt. Peel the potatoes and chop them up and add them to the soup. Tip: Even better, make fried potatoes and add them. For a finishing touch, add the cottage cheese to the soup and stir in gently.
