a recipe from my mom

Peel and dice the potatoes and celery (into bite-sized pieces). Slice the carrots and leeks. Add enough water to cover everything. Boil the potatoes, carrots, celery, and lovage in the water. Add the stock. Meanwhile, dice the onion and slice the goat’s cheese. Brown them in a pan with the minced meat and bacon. Add the leeks to the vegetables about 10 minutes before the potatoes are cooked. When the vegetables are cooked (after about 20-25 minutes), add the meat and top up with more water if needed. Finally, season to taste with salt, pepper, and Maggi seasoning, if desired.
