Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, boiled, preferably from the day before
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 200 ml milk
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

easy to prepare and very tasty

Chop the cooled, cooked potatoes into small pieces and place them in a bowl. Add the melted butter and mix with the remaining ingredients to make a batter. Now bake this batter in batches in the waffle iron. Tip: Instead of chopping the potatoes, I place them in a freezer bag and seal it. I then press the potatoes through the bag until they’re small and then process the resulting “mash.” We serve the waffles with herb quark. They can also be served as a side dish to meat dishes.
