The perfect potatoes: herb patties made from dumplings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 piece Dumplings, rest – here http://www./rezept/425642/Knoedel-Fraenkische-Kartoffelkloesse-nach-Bauer-Link-aus-Winkelhaid.html
- 2 piece Free range eggs
- 1 tablespoon Sour cream
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 50 g Raw ham
- 1 handful Fresh herbs – parsley, maggi, olive, rocket
- Salt and pepper
- Clarified butter
- Peel the onion and dice it. Also cut the ham into small cubes. Fry both in a little clarified butter.
- Chop the dumplings and puree them with the magic wand together with sour cream and eggs.
- Sort the herbs and chop them into small pieces.
- Mix the herbs, onion / ham mixture and pureed dumplings.
- Heat the butter lard in a pan and add the batter to the pan in portions with a tablespoon. Bake the patties on both sides until golden.
- They are ideal for freezing and can either be served with vegetables – here with my red cabbage – or as an accompaniment to roasts. They are also used in a burger.
