Powidl poppy seed pancakes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 60 g flour, smooth
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 10 g powdered sugar (icing sugar)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 20 g poppy seeds, ground
  • 2 tbsp plum jam (Powidl)
  • 4 tbsp whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • e.g. cranberries
  • e.g. powdered sugar (icing sugar)
  • e.g. whipped cream (Schlagobers), whipped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Spread the ingredients into a dough and let it rest for about 10 minutes. For the filling, combine the plum jam, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar, and fold in the cream. Fry the dough in hot oil to form pancakes. Spread each pancake with the filling, roll it up, serve, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Garnish with whipped cream and, if desired, some cranberries.
