Prawns with garlic and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bag of frozen king prawns
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 onions
  • 1 jar capers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tbsp basil
  • ½ cup sweet cream
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Thaw the prawns and sear them on each side. Sauté the onions in a pan until translucent, then add all the other ingredients. Add the prawns and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Season to taste. Serve with bread, pasta, or rice.
