Prawns with garlic mayonnaise

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g prawns, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 150 ml olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Prawns with Aioli

Thaw the frozen prawns, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Let stand for 30 minutes. In the meantime, thoroughly whisk the egg yolk, salt, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Gradually add the olive oil, whisking continuously. Once the mixture is nice and creamy, stir in the crushed garlic and season with salt and pepper. Serve the finished mayonnaise with the prawns.
